Background:
Currently deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Seventeen (Seabees) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer. Mark has worked as; an ECLSS Engineer for space inflatble structures; an Intern Architect with SMPC Architects, Albuquerque, New Mexico; a Research Technician in Pulmonary Physiology (Swenson/Deem Pulmonary Lab) at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA; and as Hyperbaric Technician at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He spent two summers at the South Pole Station in Antarctica, 1994-96.
